Dr. Diane (Chandler-Riddlespriger) is Contributing Faculty in the Mental Health Counseling Program.

Dr. Diane has held adjunct faculty positions in several other university counseling programs since 2015 and has served as the Director of the Counseling/Internship Program from 2022-2023 at MId-America University in Oklahoma.

She resides in the St. Louis / Illinois area, originally from Baltimore, Maryland and currently has a private practice in the Saint Louis, MO area, offering both virtual and in-person counseling sessions. Her population of clients include working with many Veterans, children/adolescents, and adults / couples, and her practice also integrates the therapeutic interventions of CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), Gottman Couples counseling, and focuses on clients with past trauma (PTSD), women’s’ issues, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and personality disorders. Dr. Diane also has specialized training in EMDR, SFBT (solutions-focused brief therapy), and she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). In addition to her private practice in psychotherapy, she loves working with students in the clinical counseling field, sharing many of her experiences and best practices in clinical mental health counseling.
