Jamie Harrington

Dr. Harrington is a doctorally-prepared Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) board certified as a Certified Nurse-midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner. She practices in a rural family practice clinic providing full scope midwifery care including births at a rural hospital. She has owned her own clinic and has previously worked in a community health center, urban freestanding birth center, and a county health department. She is actively involved in health policy and teaches research, health policy and social determinants of health to graduate nursing students. She is a contributing DNP Faculty member at Walden University.
