Dr. Kashera Guy Robinson is a social work professional and educator with more than 25 years of practice experience in juvenile justice, PK-12 education, and mental health settings. She has taught synchronous, asynchronous, and blended courses over the past 20 years at a number of institutions of higher learning and enjoys educating the next generation of social work professionals. Dr. Guy Robinson is active in a number of professional social work organizations including the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA), and the School Social Workers Association of Georgia (SSWAG).

Dr. Guy Robinson's primary role with Walden University is teaching bachelor's level courses in the Barbara Solomon School of Social Work. Her research interests include exploring the impact the trauma of transgenerational racism continues to have on chronically absent Black school-aged youth.
