Dr. Kirsty Nomch is a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in healthcare. She holds a Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University. Before advancing her education, she gained invaluable experience working in the ICU and ED at the renowned Mayo Clinic.
In her Nurse Practitioner career, Dr. Nomch has primarily served as a hospitalist but has also worked in urgent care, the newborn nursery, and the Emergency Department. She honed her leadership skills during her tenure as a Nurse Practitioner supervisor, where she guided and mentored fellow practitioners.
Dr. Nomch is an adjunct faculty member at Walden University in the Master of Nursing program. Her main research interests include infectious disease management, heart failure management, and medicine in international and limited-resource environments.
Outside of her professional life, Kirsty is a devoted wife and a mom to four wonderful children. She lives with her family in southwest Minnesota. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and embarking on adventures with her kids. She is passionate about evidence-based, holistic care and empowering the next generation of excellence in healthcare. She firmly believes that excellent care can be provided regardless of the resources available, and she is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients.
