Linda L. Strommen received her Ed. D. in Higher Education Leadership at Nova Southeastern University in August 2010. She is a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida and is multi-state licensed. She retired from full time at Nova Southeastern University in 2015 and remained as Adjunct Faculty and co-leader of the Quality Improvement Program. Dr. Strommen began at Walden University on March 27, 2024, as Contributing Faculty for the DNP Program and plans to teach NURS 8002, Foundations and Essential for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice, NURS 8114, Theoretical Scientific Foundations of Nursing, NURS 8302, Leading Organizations for Quality Improvement and NURS 8502 Evidence Based Practice. Professionally, Dr. Strommen has been in academia for over 20 years with demonstrated success in nursing administration, teaching, online and blended curriculum development, daily operations, strategic planning, and health care marketing. She is student focused with excellence in communications skills, team-building, change, and virtual leadership. Dr. Strommen is an organized and focused professional committed to student and organizational success.
