Dr. Mark Taliancich is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana. He completed his Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling and his PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision at the University of Holy Cross in 2008 and 2016, respectively.

Since obtaining his Master’s degree, he has worked in a variety of counseling settings, including addictions, community based mental health services, and outpatient counseling programs. In addition to this, he worked as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Counseling at the University of Holy Cross from 2009-2021.

Dr. Taliancich is currently a Contributing Faculty Member in the Mental Health Counseling Program at Walden University, while also maintaining a private practice providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.

Dr. Taliancich believes that learning, like counseling, is a collaborative process that is enhanced by building strong relationships between teacher and student, and strives to mentor, support, and empower his students to reach their goals.

He lives in New Orleans with his wife and two sons.
