Dr. Rod Michael Jones is a board-certified licensed clinical social worker/psychotherapist. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Social Work from the Morgan State University School of Social Work in Baltimore, MD and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Clinical Social Work from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Jones is a Board-Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work through the American Board of Clinical Social Work. He also earned national credentialing as a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW). In addition, Dr. Jones has completed qualitative research on aging and HIV/AIDS issues among vulnerable diverse LGBTQ populations.
Dr. Jones has over 10 years of behavioral health, social welfare policy, healthcare social work, gerontology, life coaching, and higher education/collegiate education experiences. He also has culturally competent psychotherapeutic expertise in self-esteem/relationship issues and depression/anxiety among adults, LGBTQ populations, and older adults/geriatrics.
