Shari Richardson is part-time Contributing Faculty in the Barbara Solomon School of Social Work and Human Services at Walden University. She is also a full-time Assistant Professor at Medgar Evers College, part of the City University of New York’s (CUNY) network of colleges. In addition, Shari is the founder of a private psychotherapy practice that serves BIPOC populations. She completed her DSW at the University of Southern California, graduate studies at Fordham University, and undergraduate studies at City College of New York (CUNY). Shari is an experienced instructor teaching graduate and undergraduate level social work courses, including Introduction to Social Work, Theories of Human Behavior, Social Work Micro Practice, BSW/MSW Field Seminar Instruction, Social Work and Child Welfare, and Social Work Macro Practice. Service to students include academic advisement, mentoring, and field site supervisor.
