Dr. Wodzinski received his doctorate in counselor education and supervision from the University of the Cumberlands in August of 2022. He has worked as a licensed mental health counselor at the Tampa Veterans Administration since 2009. In 2024, he was hired as a contributing faculty member at Walden University to teach in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Dr. Wodzinski has been licensed as a mental health counselor in Florida since 2005 and is a qualified supervisor of mental health counselor interns in Florida. He is also certified as an addictions professional, rehabilitation counselor, and a telemental health provider. He is a member of several counseling associations, including the American Counseling Association. Dr. Wodzinski’s research interests include co-morbid chronic pain and mental health disorders, substance use disorders, veteran trauma, and clinical supervision of counselors. Professionally, he has worked with multiple populations in several different milieus, including inpatient, outpatient, and an emergency department.
